Saints at Purcell Invitational

In the heart of Oklahoma, high school golfers from across the state gathered for an exhilarating tournament showcasing talent, determination, and sportsmanship. The tournament, held at Brent Bruehl Memorial Golf Course Monday, March 11th, spanned six hours of intense competition under the bright Oklahoma sun.

This season opening tournament had players navigating a challenging course while fighting against the Oklahoma wind. It was a display of both individual skill and teamwork. Ultimately, as the sun dipped below the horizon, the Saints had won the tournament.

"I'm glad we won," said Sophomore golfer Ty Neatherlin, "we worked really hard." Ty finished the tournament with a score of 75, leading the Saints' winning team. He came in 3rd of all players individually.

Other winning players include Braden Haines who came in 6th and Reed Higgins who finished 10th.

Senior Brayden Grande, expressed his excitement about the win. "It was a really good aim, brother; I can't believe we actually won." Brayden finished with a solid score, being the 4 bag for this first varsity tournament.
