Eric Gomez, the man, the myth, the legend for Oklahoma Christian Schools, spends his days behind a camera lens, capturing the heart and soul of the OCS community.

His day begins early, editing with his heart and soul out to get just the right angles and adjustments for the media day pictures.

Eric helps lots of people in the sports media department, and in our sports media class every day helping come up with story ideas and media to use daily.

"He helps us figure out how to do and work everything there is to know here." Says sophomore sports media student, Jake Laws.

Lunch hour offers no break for Gomez, as he roams the campus capturing vivid images of students laughing with friends or engaging in quick games outside. The afternoon takes him to the gym where he takes photos of the basketball boys practice.

As the day winds down, Gomez heads to the basketball game, either working in the concessions, or shooting photographs for the next game day post; Gomez can do it all on game day. Now in the morning, Gomez works on editing the pictures from last nights show, grinding out pictures all day long.

"He helps us up in the booth whenever we need it during live streams and so much more." Says senior broadcaster, Grammy Herring.

For Eric Gomez, every day is a new opportunity to spotlight the joy, learning, and life at Oklahoma Christian School.
