With last year's State Championship in the books, this year's OCS basketball team is ready to dominate and reclaim their title. This season the team no longer has their star LUKE GRAY on the roster, so, to fill in his shoes, this new team needs to work together to reach their ultimate goal. Though the team lost their senior star, more seniors were able to take his place. With six seniors being on the team, experience may help this year's team to play well and keep up the hard work.

"We've had practices everyday after school, so I think we are well prepared for this season," Jackson Rowell, a junior, said. 

Practices took place at Solid Rock Basketball Complex during this off season, and the players were able to train and play short scrimmages to keep up their skills. The hard work that they put in everyday will hopefully bring back another trophy to place on the shelf!

Their first game is against Oklahoma Christian Academy on December 3rd at 7:45. This game will be at home, so be sure to support the team! 
 
Just as the boys are practicing everyday, so are the girls. The girls basketball team is also ready to dominate this year and their star, AVA MCINTYRE, is ready to continue putting up her great stats this year! They have been working just as hard as the boys!

"We've been putting in the work, and I think it will be a good season," Kaylee Kates, a sophomore, said. 

Their first game is also against OCA on December 3rd at 6:30. Don't forget to show out and support them!

This basketball season is sure to be a great one. Both girls and boys are ready to dominate and continue to pursue the greatness OCS basketball is known for. Be sure to attend all the games and cheer loudly! Nothing helps a basketball team better than great fans!
