The basketball teams have been practicing and preparing since around June. They practice almost all year round to prepare for their seasons.
   
Most recently, they have started scrimmaging other schools. A scrimmage is when you play against one or more schools. They might stop for teaching moments or alter rules slightly.

"They are very beneficial to help the team get up to game speed and play new competition before playing a an actual game. It allows us to make mistakes and learn from them before they really count," says Ava McIntyre, a Senior basketball player.

The girl's first scrimmage was November 8th at Edmond North High School. The Boy's first scrimmage was November 5th, both against and at Noble.

Both teams have several more scrimmages to come. The girls scrimmage schedule is as follows: Thursday, November 14th at home against Southwest Covenant and the Moore Super Scrimmage on Saturday, November 23 in Moore.

The teams are putting in all the effort they can and are excited for the season to gear up.

Their first game will be against OCA (Oklahoma Christian Academy) on Tuesday, December 3rd, and it will be at home. Come and support the Saints!

The night will kick off with the ninth grade boys at 4 P.M. Second will be the JV boys at 5 P.M. Then the Varsity Girls at 6:30 and Varsity Boys at 7:45!
