After another successful season, the baseball team has come to their final home game of the year. The Saints have had an 11 - 8 record this season and are looking to make a good run for the state trophy. The team faced Christian Heritage Academy on April 16th at 5 PM. BRANDON ORME and CARTER STERLING are the two Seniors for the baseball team this year. Carter will be attending Seminole State College to play baseball, and Brandon will be attending Oklahoma State University this fall. These two players were recognized before the game at 4:45, and the crowd support was unmatched.
Baseball manager Evi Oaks says that she, "is excited to see how we play the rest of the season because we have had a great run so far, and I am sad that these two players won't be on the team next year, and they will be missed." Third baseman and pitcher LUCAS STOUT says that he "will miss the buds a lot".
Senior Night was a monstrous success with the Saints winning 24-1 in run rule fashion. If a team is ahead by 10 points or more after the fifth inning, game is not continued. The Saints baseball team went full swing in their last home game of the season. In honor of their Senior teammates, the boys put on an entertaining show against the Crusaders on their home field Tuesday night.
