Roger Peron, born and raised in London, England, always had a passion for soccer. His journey took him across the Atlantic, where he played at Mid-America Christian University before stepping into coaching.

Brandon Weaver says he's glad to have Peron on the OCS Athletics Team. "We're excited about coach Peron coming on board with us at OCS, he brings great experience and passion for the game of soccer," said Coach Weaver. "He is also someone who is completely aligned with our mission here at ocs, we are excited to see him take over our boys soccer program and continue to improve it."

After years on the sidelines, Peron made a name for himself at Sporting Clube de Portugal, but his career took a new turn. He's now coaching at OK Energy FC, leading both the 2014 Boys Pre-ECNL RL and 2008 Boys White teams. His dedication to the game and his USSF 'C' License make him a top mentor for young athletes.

In addition to club coaching, Peron is also the Women's Assistant Coach at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. His experience spans from coaching at Coastal Bend College (TX) to his alma mater, Mid-America Christian University.

Recently, he was spotted scouting talent at an Ice Eagles girls' soccer match, always on the lookout for players who share his passion for the sport.

Though his time at Sporting has ended, his impact on Oklahoma soccer continues to grow. With years of experience and a love for the game, Coach Peron continues to shape the future of young athletes, and OCS is fortunate to have him.
