February 5th, 2025 is a big day for three OCS athletes here at the Kingdom. On this day
LOGAN AUSTIN,
WYATT FITZGERALD, and
NATHAN COVERT will be signing their national letter of intents to take their skills to the next level.
LOGAN AUSTIN will be taking his talents to Oklahoma Baptist University to continue his journey in running cross country and track. Austin was asked how he felt about this next big step in his life and he said, "I am fired up to go onto college athletics!" There are definitely big things in his future, and as he is sent off the OCS community will send him off with a big GO BISON!
Going along with Logan to Shawnee, Oklahoma is
WYATT FITZGERALD. This year in particular Wyatt was the starting quarterback for the Saints on the field and is the Saints starting pitcher. He is being given the chance to compete as a dual sport athlete in football and baseball at Oklahoma Baptist University. When asked why he decided to go to OBU he responded saying, "When I met the team it just felt like a family, and I felt at home." Best of luck to Wyatt on this next big step!
Last but not least starting striker for the OCS Saints soccer team,
NATHAN COVERT, will be signing along his fellow classmates from the Class of 2025 on the 5th. However, he will be breaking off from the crowd and going to play soccer in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Nathan expressed how he felt with the big decision, "I'm just excited to start the next four year chapter in my life!
Among the three of these athletes they have left a big impact, not only on their respective teams, but also on the OCS community as a whole. Best of luck to
LOGAN AUSTIN,
WYATT FITZGERALD, and
NATHAN COVERT as they go to collegiate athletics to compete hard, but most importantly spread the light of Christ wherever they go.
