Boys Tennis Duncan West Tournament

The Saints High School boys' tennis team put on a strong performance at the Duncan West Tournament, with standout results from their singles player, Trendon Ayers, who claimed first place in the No. 1 singles division.

Ayers dominated his competition throughout the tournament, showcasing his skill and consistency. During his match, he played with precision and determination, securing the gold medal, and starting off the season with a strong victory. "I just stayed focused on my game plan and played every point like it mattered," Ayers said. "It feels great to come out on top."

At No. 2 singles, ANDREW MATHERLY battled through the competition and finished in seventh place. Despite some challenging matches, Matherly displayed resilience and fought hard in every set.

In doubles action, the duo of KYLE HARJO and Boston Burnett finished 10th overall, they showed great chemistry throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, the No. 2 doubles team of ETHAN MILLER and Marty Hobbs finished 13th, gaining valuable experience against tough competition.

Overall, the OCS team showed impressive effort and determination, competing hard against tough competition. With valuable experience gained from this tournament, the saints boys tennis team looks to continue improving and making an impact in upcoming competitions.
