In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, the Oklahoma Christian School Saints football team secured a decisive 42-7 victory against the Blackwell Maroons on Friday night. The game, held at the Saints' home field, showcased the team's offensive pursuit, and solid defense, leaving fans exhilarated.

From the opening whistle, the Saints established their dominance. Running back ATTICUS SAGE made a significant impact, adding two touchdowns to the Saints' impressive tally.

Senior, GRAMMY HERRING, says "We showed our dominance early in our offensive game to help us take the W." 

The Saints' defense was equally formidable, limiting the Maroons to just one touchdown late in the game. Linebacker Spencer Schwant led the charge with numerous tackles, consistently thwarting Blackwell's offensive attempts and forcing many turnovers for the Maroons.

Sophomore, JAKE LAWS, says that "We kept getting stop after stop and our defense played a very important role in our win."

As the final whistle blew, the Saints celebrated a well-deserved victory, improving their season record to 6-2. Head Coach Tanner Roof praised his team's effort. Easy games like this can set the tone for the rest of the team's season. The Saints look to continue their winning streak in the upcoming weeks, aiming for a chance in the state playoffs.
