Allen Leads OCS to 27-0 Win Over CHA in Season Opener

EDMOND, Okla. – Friday night lights are back at Oklahoma Christian School, and the Saints opened their season with a dominant victory.

The OCS Saints defeated Christian Heritage Academy 27-0 in their 2025 regular-season opener Friday night at OCS Football Field, powered by two touchdown passes from quarterback CREIGHTON ALLEN and two rushing scores from DREW MATTHEWS.

The Saints moved the ball efficiently, piling up 298 yards of total offense, nearly split between rushing and passing. Allen completed 14 of 17 passes for 149 yards, including a season-long 32-yard strike to ATTICUS SAGE in the second half.

Four minutes into the first quarter, Allen connected with HUDSON ABLE on a 29-yard touchdown to put the Saints up 7-0. Later in the quarter, JAMES HUFFMYER intercepted a pass to give OCS the ball back, but the Saints fumbled the possession away, allowing CHA to run out the clock on the quarter.

Early in the second quarter, Huffmyer came up with his second interception, and this time the Saints capitalized. After a 15-yard completion to ELI WINTER, Allen pitched the ball to Matthews, who sprinted up the right hash for his first touchdown of the night, giving OCS a 14-0 lead with 7:45 left in the half. The Saints' defense continued to stifle the Crusaders' run game, sending OCS into halftime with the two-touchdown advantage.

OCS received the ball to start the second half and extended the lead on its opening drive. With linemen HANK GREEN, GREYSON HAMMON and BROCK JOHNSON clearing the way, Matthews broke free for a 42-yard touchdown run, untouched, making it 20-0 after a missed extra point.

The Saints tacked on one more score late in the third quarter when Allen connected with Winter for a 21-yard touchdown, stretching the lead to 27-0 with 2:37 left in the frame.

From there, OCS' defense held firm, closing out the 27-0 shutout.

The Saints hit the road next week to face the Casady Cyclones.
