The OCS Saints Football team played Mount Saint Mary's last Friday. They won 26-21. It was Senior Night and the Varsity Football and Cheerleaders were honored even though the game was played in the pouring rain. 

Junior Hudson Able says "The rain couldn't stop us."

Atticus Sage scored the first touchdown of the night on a 14 yard reverse from Wyatt Fitzgerald. The Saints kept it going as they made the Rockets punt on the next possession. Atticus also had another touchdown for 36 yards on another reverse. The Saints played some great defense throughout the game. 

WYATT FITZGERALD ended up getting hurt before the end of the first half. The Saints were leading 20 - 7. Junior Creighton Allen stepped in for the saints for a few drives as the Saints headed to the locker room.  

The team ended up winning as Wyatt came back in to end the 1st half.

To be able to go to the playoff the Saints and Millwood needed to win by 15. Millwood sadly only won by 6. This game ended up being the last of the 2024 football season for the Saints. 

Freshman Avery Gregory says " The end of football season was a blast but also sad with seniors leaving, but it was also sad with the seniors leaving! I loved this season and especially the Crossings game."
