The Saints High school wrestling team found themselves at home taking on Bishop McGuinness. It was an amazing night for both teams to gain experience and mat time. The Saints have not had competition since early December before Christmas break so the team was eager to get back on the mat. They trained hard over the break to stay in good shape as they approach the back half of the season. 

"Going into the second semester I really just look to find my peak, so that I am at my best at the right time," says senior Dax Lopez. 

The dual had some pretty good match ups and the Saints fought through every period with grit and determination. Although the dual did not end up in the Saint's favor, there were some big wins. The night ended with junior Hank Green winning the final heavyweight match. 

As the end of the Saints' wrestling season draws close, the team looks to finish strong. "We will keep working harder in the room so that next time we can come out on top," said junior Henry Field.
