The Oklahoma Christian School Saints are set to take the mat this next week as they compete in the highly anticipated regional wrestling tournament. With a season full of training, tough dual meets, and standout performances, many Saints are aiming to secure spots at the state championship.
Led by head coach Colby Robinson, the Saints have built a reputation for resilience and skill. All season he has been preaching to the athletes, "Hold the line" and as they approach this tournament the Saints do just that. Staying focused these next few days is very important as they sharpen their skills and hone their craft.Â
With other skilled teams and tough competition there, the Saints know the road won't be easy. But with determination, technique, and team spirit, OCS is poised to make a statement, and take the most wrestlers to the state tournament in program history.Â
Jace Lillie, a state qualifier from last year says, "As a senior this is very important to me, I have pored so much into this sport and the work is paying off."Â
The regional tournament kicks off February 21st at Kingfisher High School, and the Saints are ready to punch their tickets to State!
